Mobile Beat magazine review of DJScreen.com's Projection Screen

EXPANDING YOUR SCREEN POSSIBILITIES
By Andy Powell
New screen
stretches the imagination
Recently I had the
opportunity to test a new product coming to exhibit at MBLV Xpo 2007. It is a
spandex screen
manufactured by Canadian-based company called DJScreen.com
It's a versatile, portable screen that works for any occasion. I had the
opportunity to use it for several high school
dances and a couple of weddings. The ease of set up was incredible! I wasn't
tied down, wasting a lot of time
setting up the screen. It was easy to rig it up right to my lighting supports.
That also helped give my setup a
streamlined look, with everything visually tied together.
I expected there to be a trade-off between the simplicity of setup and the
screen's capability to reflect light. But
when I fired up the projector, I didn't feel that I lost anything in color or
brightness of projection using the new
spandex screen.
Another cool "feature" of the spandex screen is the impression of a
large-scale, rock concert-style event that it
gives. We've all seen those outrageous backdrops at concerts, plays, or on TV
awards shows, etc. This type of
abstract screen shape really adds to that kind of artsy vibe to your
presentation.
You can go to www.djscreen.com for more info. Or, better yet, you can catch this
new product at the Mobile Beat
Vegas Xpo "07 stop and talk to Fabrizio or Dino and see how this screen can
enhance your look.
